Since 2012, The Cripple Creek Band has been playing all over the West Coast while releasing three albums and two singles. In 2017, 2017, & 2022 The CCB received awards and recognition in multiple nationwide songwriting competitions. They have opened for many artists and in 2023 they played at California’s Goldensky Festival. The Cripple Creek Band has a unique sound blending multiple genres and styles of music including country, Americana, Bluegrass, and Southern Rock.

John Pemberton

John Pemberton is a country music artist who has remained true to traditional country roots. Growing up in a musical family, he began playing guitar at age three. At twelve, his family formed the band “Southern Sound,” and toured together for years.

At nineteen, John shifted to gospel music, recording his first album in Nashville in 1992 and touring until 2015. Feeling called back to country music, he returned and found success, with his single “That Was Then” topping the International Hot Country Music Chart in 2014. He was also voted Male Vocalist of the Year at CCR Radio. His latest single, “When You Love Someone,” was recorded in Nashville and released on January 27, 2023.

Throughout his career, John has opened for well-known artists like Easton Corbin, Jackson Dean, and Caitlin Smith.
